Foam Pillow Review

Material

Our Casper foam pillow review shows that this pillow consists of three layers of cooling foam that offer great support. The cover is made of 88% polyester and 12% spandex. The liner is 90% polyester and 10% spandex. The foam that makes up the inside of the pillow is created using 77% polyurethane foam and 23% viscoelastic polyurethane foam.

Feel

The design, using three layers of foam, ensures that the innermost layer supports your neck, while the outer layers offer a cushioning feel. Reviews of Casper pillow claim that the pillow was created to stop you from overheating in your sleep, and it does so thanks to little channels within the foam that help the air circulate out of the pillow and away from you. The jersey knit cover is also extremely breathable and adds to the cooling effect of the pillow, according to our Casper pillow review on foam pillows.

Advantages

  • Supportive foam
  • Soft cushioning
  • Allows you to sleep cool

Disadvantages

  • Some might find it costly
  • The foam can’t be washed
  • Cool sleepers might not appreciate the cool feel

Down Pillow Review

Material

The cover of this down pillow is made of 100% cotton, while the inner panels are made using 100% polyester. The outer chamber of the pillow is made using 80% white duck down and 20% feathers. The inner chambers are made up of 60% white duck down and 40% feathers. It’s important to note in our Casper down pillow review that the down used in these pillows is certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) and comes from animals who were treated with respect.

Feel

The five-chamber design creates a supportive and airy pillow that is both breathable and soft. You may think that a down pillow wouldn’t have as much support to it as other pillows made of a firmer substance, but these pillows will support your neck as well as offer a comfortable surface.

Advantages

  • Ethically sourced down and feather filling, according to Casper pillow reviews
  • Airy and soft pillow
  • Machine washable

Disadvantages

  • Not as cool as other options
  • Some might find it expensive
  • Not suitable for vegans

Summary of Our Casper Pillow Review

Casper pillows are made with quality materials and careful craftsmanship that makes the high price worth every penny. For a comfortable and soft pillow, you can’t go wrong with the Casper Original pillow. If you’re looking for a firm yet comfortable option, the Foam pillows are a great choice. For the luxurious and airy down pillows, the Casper Down pillows are perfect.

This is a loaded question as it all depends on what you want out of a pillow. Some people love the Original because they don’t want a foam pillow and aren’t necessarily fans of down pillows. Others love the firm comfort that comes with the foam pillows, and they love that they can always rely on their pillow to be supportive and in good condition. Others, on the other hand, go for the luxurious feel of the Down pillow. At the end of the day, it all depends on your personal preferences.

FAQs

Is the Casper pillow worth it?

In short, yes. While the Casper pillow is an expensive choice, it is worth it if you value comfort. If you are someone who usually needs many pillows to sleep comfortably, you will find that you don’t need nearly as many when you have a Casper pillow. Whether you choose the Original, Foam, or Down pillow, you will find that one pillow is more than enough to sleep through the night. While you could easily buy a cheaper pillow, you may end up regretting your decision when you realize that it doesn’t last nearly long enough or when it deflates after a short period.
