Coop Eden Pillow Review

Materials Used

The first thing we found once we got our hands on this soft beauty is the fact that every part of the Eden pillow can be removed and washed (as well as tumble-dried) thanks to the superb quality of the materials used. This is great news for all those clean-freaks out there, as well as hot sleepers or people suffering from allergies.

Pillow Cover

The removable pillow cover is made with Lulltra fabric, which is made using sustainable bamboo. This is a softly dense pillowcase that provides a truly luxurious feel and just enough breathability. The pillow cover also has a gusseted edge that adds another level of support to this otherwise fairly soft pillow.

Another great thing we discovered when going through reviews on the Eden Pillow is that the inner liner is also removable. The material used is a lightweight polyester that’s stretchy, and you can easily unzip it, take the filling out, and wash it.

However, if you find it necessary, you can wash the pillow’s actual fill and put it in the dryer (this should seal the deal for clean freaks). Just be sure to follow Coop Home Goods’ directions and first secure the inner pillow with a safety pin to prevent it from opening during the wash.

According to the research we did for this Eden Pillow review, you’ll have to wash the pillow in cold water using a delicate cycle. Furthermore, you can’t use bleach or fabric softener.

You can put it in the dryer, also set on low, but you’re advised to dry one Eden Pillow at a time, according to what we found on the company website and other available Coop Home Goods Eden Pillow reviews.

Pillow Fill

Trying to tackle the common problem of sleeping hot, Coop Goods uses microfiber and gel-infused memory foam. Specifically, they use polyester and viscoelastic polyurethane, which regulates temperature and aids in moisture-wicking.

This is great news for people suffering from allergies since the material is hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites. An additional benefit we discovered, which other Coop Eden Pillow reviews confirm, is that the brand doesn’t use repurposed materials. Rather, it manufactures fresh cross-cut foam to fill the Eden Pillow.

Feel

When it comes to the feel, this is a luxuriously soft, breathable pillow. In terms of the Coop Eden Pillow vs. the Original, our review found that the Eden is much softer and wouldn’t be a good fit for side sleepers. This is a light pillow, and while it’s perfect for those who like their pillows soft, you can also fiddle with it to customize it so that it feels perfect for you.

As the inner liner has a zipper, you can actually take out part of the fill or, alternatively, add some more. The pillow comes with an additional bag of the pillow fill (½ lb) so you can add more support if you need it.

It does a great job of mimicking a down-like pillow. Happily, unlike with traditional duck or goose down, it won’t trigger allergies. In fact, allergy sufferers can also pair this great pillow with an amazing non-toxic and eco-friendly mattress that will allow them a truly blissful and safe sleep.

Customer Service

Customer service isn’t at the forefront of customers’ minds when buying goods they’re happy with—as was the case with our Coop Eden Pillow review team.

However, this crucial segment of any viable business becomes very important when things don’t go according to plan or you need help or additional information. Trial Period and Return Policy

Another great thing we discovered evaluating other Eden contour pillow reviews is that the company offers a 100-night trial period, which will certainly allow you enough time to make up your mind. In fact, if you find yourself experiencing less-than-perfect sleep with the Eden Pillow and can’t sort this out by adding or removing the fill, you can simply give the company a call. It offers free loft customization, and Coop Home Goods will do its best to try and adjust your Eden Pillow to your needs.

However, if that fails too and you wish to return your Eden Pillow, you must either call or email customer service with your order number to start the return process. What our Eden Pillow review team found is that the company will send a free prepaid return label, and as soon as your returned Eden Pillow arrives, you’ll get a full refund within the span of two business days. The method you paid for the pillow will be used for the refund.

Shipping Options

Coop Home Goods ships to all 48 contiguous US states for free. While the company also ships to Canada, there will be an additional shipping fee involved. Also, note that we found plenty of reviews on Eden Pillow pointing out that the free shipping isn’t applicable to residents of Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and other US territories, as well as overseas military installations.

It will take (on average) one business day to process the order you placed and a further 7–10 business days for you to receive the goods you ordered.

Warranty

Customers considering an Eden Pillow purchase will be happy to know they get a five-year limited warranty. You need to be mindful that the warranty applies to goods you either bought directly from Coop Home Goods or an authorized seller.

The warranty will cover material damage that occurred despite you handling the pillow properly. Coop Eden Pillow reviews point out that the warranty will also cover any defect that happened during the manufacturing process.

Prices

Comparing the Coop Original Pillow vs. the Coop Eden Pillow, our review found a slight difference in price. The Original Pillow, which is also a Coop Home Goods bestseller, is slightly cheaper. Meanwhile, the starting price for the Eden Pillow is $69.99 for the standard and goes to $89.99 for the king size.

To make the purchase easier on your purse, it’s always a good idea to keep an eye out for an available Coop Eden Pillow coupon.

Review Summary

It’s not really a question of whether or not the Eden is a good or even a great pillow, because it is. It’s simply a question of whether it does or doesn’t fit your needs.

It’s obvious a lot of time, effort, and thought have gone into creating this pillow. Coop Home Goods has a great product that is cruelty-free, made with superb materials, and offers additional perks like extra fill.

If you want a soft but comfortable pillow that still provides enough support, then the Eden will be a godsend. Being able to tweak it by adding or removing fill is just another great perk.

To be completely certain, you could take the quiz available on the Coop Home Goods site and perhaps compare the Coop Eden Pillow vs. the Original to determine which might suit you better.

FAQs

What are Eden Pillows made of?

Our Coop Eden Pillow review found that for those struggling with allergies, the fact that Eden pillows are filled with a hypoallergenic blend of polyester and viscoelastic polyurethane should be a welcome bit of info.

The case is made with Lulltra fabric, which is incredibly airy and breathable. The fabric is a mixture of bamboo-derived viscose rayon and polyester, while the liner is made of stretchy polyester.

How do you use the Eden Pillow?

Bear in mind that this pillow is vacuum-sealed, so it takes some time before you can actually use it. Thankfully, Coop Home Goods sends an informative leaflet with the pillow, taking you through the process step-by-step.

Once you open the pillow, ideally you’ll put it in the tumble dryer for about ten minutes (low heat). This step helps the pillow’s foam expand faster and reach its ideal plumpness. Alternatively, you can knead your Eden pillow. It does the trick nicely, our Coop Home Goods Eden Pillow review found.

You’ll have to bear with the slightly chemical-like scent. This is commonplace with memory foam pillows, and it takes time for the smell to dissipate. Again, you can speed up the process by putting the pillow in the dryer for another spin or leave the inner pillow in the sun. So there’s a bit of prep work with this pillow but it will be worth it in the end.

Where are Eden Pillows made?

According to the information from Coop Home Goods and available Eden Pillow reviews, these pillows are exclusively US-made.

Are Eden Pillows good?

Objectively speaking, we would simply say yes! However, as we pointed out, this variable depends on your needs more than anything else. If you prefer a soft pillow that will, nonetheless, provide a certain amount of support, then this Eden Pillow review will be your yellow brick road leading you to your perfect pillow.

Further benefits include the fact that Eden Pillow has all the necessary certificates of safety, including CertiPUR-US and Greenguard Gold certifications.
