That’s where our AVEOtsd reviews come in.

We’ll go into detail about the useful anti-snoring features this product has and what its advantages (and disadvantages) might be. AVEOtsd Review

Type

The AVEOtsd falls into the category of tongue stabilizing devices, hence the “TSD” in the product name. Also known as a tongue retaining device, a TSD resembles a large pacifier. It has a small outer dome-like section into which you put your tongue. When set up properly, it holds your tongue in place, pulling it forward and preventing it from obstructing your airways (and thus, preventing snoring). Our AVEOtsd anti-snoring mouthpiece review details its features, advantages, and possible disadvantages.

Size

There are actually three AVEOtsd sizes found on the company’s official website. However, the medium version has been specially made to fit pretty much any mouth size and has room for any tongue. If you feel like you have an extra large or small mouth and tongue, then you might be willing to pay the extra $10 for a smaller or larger version (at the time of writing this article).

Customizability

The next important feature in our AVEOtsd review is the product’s customizability. Namely, unlike most snoring aids, you won’t have to deal with the hassle of actually setting the product up. Anti-snoring products like MADs (mandibular advancement devices) usually need you to use the boil-and-bite technique. This method requires you to put the plastic mouthguard into hot water, and after it softens, you then place it into your mouth, letting it take on the shape of your oral cavity. Conversely, the AVEOtsd is pretty much ready to go from the moment you take it out of the box.

Adjustable

Unfortunately, we can’t fail to mention in our AVEOtsd device review that it isn’t adjustable. While you can use these types of anti-snoring devices right out of the box, the lack of a boil-and-bite method means you have to hope that the size you bought fits your mouth and tongue.

The AVEOtsd company offers three different sizes, and the medium size seems to suit most people, but you still have to take a slight gamble. And of course, your level of discomfort will vary, if you experience any at all.

A good rule of thumb you should stick to is wearing the device for a couple of minutes during the day. This will allow you to get used to how it feels, making it easier to fall asleep when you put it in before bedtime.

Materials

Next on the list in our AVEOtsd device review, we’ve included the materials used to make this product. Namely, this TSD/TRD is not made from plastic. Rather, it’s made out of medical-grade silicone. This material keeps it relatively comfortable, preventing the device from irritating your gums and scraping your teeth. The ISO 10993-1 Medical Grade Silicone used for this product is pretty flexible, which allows it to bend in accordance with how your mouth is shaped.

Durability and Maintenance

Product Lifetime

This is a very durable product. Made from medical-grade silicone, it can last for more than two years. In fact, some AVEOtsd reviews posted by users state that it can last even longer. This is further corroborated by the fact that the manufacturers offer a two-year guarantee.

What makes it extra durable is the fact that there are no moving parts. Properly stored and maintained, you can use this product for a long time.

Maintenance

This sleep apnea mouthpiece requires very little maintenance. In fact, there’s no need to mention anything else in this part of our AVEOtsd anti-snoring device review except that it needs to be cleaned regularly. After every use, rinse the product with warm water or a very mild dental solution. Since this is a one-piece item, there are no moving parts or difficult-to-reach nooks and crannies that need to be cleaned.

Note that any possible discoloration of this product might be caused by GERD due to the saliva and bile released during reflux episodes. A strong odor might be a sign of inconsistent cleaning or of periodontal disease.

Customer Service

While most reviews of AVEOtsd devices are positive, you should know that contacting the company is always an option through its website if you face any issues.

Conversations regarding refunds and returns need to first be communicated to these professionals, who can be contacted at [email protected].

Terms of Sale

Trial Period and Return Policy

We need to mention in our AVEOtsd tongue stabilizing device review that this company has an excellent return policy. Namely, within 60 days of your purchase of this product, you get a chance to return it if you haven’t found this product helpful or effective.

Furthermore, if you bought more than one snoring mouthpiece, you can only return one used AVEOtsd. The rest must be unopened. All you need is your proof of purchase to send it back—after you speak with one of their experts.

Shipping Options

In order to get these stop-snoring devices, you need to order them exclusively from their official websites or stockists. All orders receive free standard shipping. Choose your location here.

Warranty

Another feature worth mentioning in our review of AVEOtsd, the manufacturers (Innovative Health Technologies Ltd.) offer a six-month replacement warranty. This warranty is related to defects found within or on the snoring devices that have been caused by the manufacturer.

However, the company doesn’t offer a warranty on compliance usage issues. The manual states that “usage is a personal matter,” where the user needs to ensure “the device is working properly.” You can read about who should (and should not) use the device later on in our AVEOtsd snoring mouthpiece review.

Prices

According to the US website, the prices currently are as follows:

  • AVEOtsd Single, Small: $99.00
  • AVEOtsd Single, Medium: $89.00
  • AVEOtsd Single, Large: $99.00
  • AVEOtsd Twin Pack, Medium only: $139.00

A proper AVEOtsd review needs to account for the fact that not everyone can use the medium-sized product. Luckily, there’s an anti-snoring device for everybody, since it can come in medium, small, and large. Furthermore, the twin pack (only in medium size) gives you two devices at a much lower price.

Should You Use This Product?

Who Can Benefit From the AVEOtsd?

  • Individuals who snore because of their tongue causing problems with their breathing when they sleep
  • People who don’t want to—or can’t—undergo invasive medical procedures or use certain medical devices
  • People with dentures, since the product primarily rests on the lips, not teeth
  • People who suffer from jaw issues like TMJ, AVEOtsd reviews confirm

Who Shouldn’t Use This Product?

  • People whose snoring is caused by issues other than their tongue obstructing their breathing during sleep, like a deviated septum
  • People whose mouths and tongues are greatly above or below average in size
  • People who suffer from severe sleep apnea and need professional medical attention in order to deal with this issue
  • People whose snoring is caused by excess weight

What Should People Look for Instead?

  • Instead of checking out AVEOtsd reviews, consider a MAD mouth guard for snoring
  • A nasal anti-snoring nasal spray might be a good alternative
  • If the angle of your head causes you to snore, maybe a specialized anti-snoring pillow would be better
  • People suffering from severe sleep apnea should check out a CPAP machine instead of getting a sleep apnea mouth guard

FAQs

How do I use AVEOtsd?

This mouthpiece for snoring is pretty easy to use. It can be used pretty much right out of the box (after rinsing it out with warm water), without any setup or boil-and-bite methods. All you have to do is put it inside your mouth (the V-shaped notch should be at the bottom), with the protruding pacifier-like disc resting on your lips. Place your tongue into the product’s opening, and let it sit there. Gently squeeze the upper and lower part of the “dome” you put your tongue into.

Your tongue is held in place by suction. Squeezing it too much will create too much suction and lead to discomfort. Many AVEOtsd user reviews state that it takes some getting used to. Thus, adding too little pressure means it won’t be effective. You can remove it by pressing on the sides of the “dome,” breaking the suction. Remember to clean it out after every use.

Do tongue devices work for sleep apnea?

It depends on what is causing your sleep apnea. People with this condition have their breathing abruptly stop and start while they sleep. If you suffer from central sleep apnea, your brain isn’t sending the proper signals to the muscles that control your breathing. In this instance, a TSD/TRD won’t help you.

Obstructive sleep apnea is a different story. It’s caused by something obstructing your breathing. These obstructions can be caused by excess weight compressing your airways, some sort of structural deformation in your throat, mouth, or nose, or it can simply happen because your tongue is falling too far back. In this last instance, tongue devices do in fact help with sleep apnea.

Can losing weight cure sleep apnea?

If you have excess weight that obstructs your airways, losing said weight will help you breathe better at night and allow you to get a good night’s sleep. However, if there are multiple factors that have led to your sleep apnea, then it’s not a guarantee this will cure it. It could certainly help, though.

Where can I go to buy AVEOtsd?

The genuine, original AVEOtsd snoring aid can only be ordered from the official website online. You can also get the real deal from approved retailers and stockists, a list of which can be found on AVEOtsd’s websites.

The official site, and other AVEOtsd reviews, states that there are in fact many counterfeit copies online. They warn against getting this product from eBay, AliExpress, and other unauthorized online retailers.
